My name is Alvaro Cavalcanti and I am a 29-years-old Brazilian Systems Analyst. Although I haven’t worked with game development yet, that’s what I’m longing to do.
I completed a Game Design Basics course during Q4 2007 and got in touch with the Game Development world. I was hooked. Since then I’ve been much into game development/industry sites and blogs. I have also studied quite a bit and have started some game projects (see below). I still have some other ideas for games and right now I’m trying to turn them into real projects instead of only ideas.
Finally, a little bio. I’ve graduated on Computer Science with bachelors degree in 2002, but I got my first job as a web developer four years earlier. I’ve worked on that same area for a long time, until three years ago when I began working with the JavaME. Nowadays I still work with it, creating and modifying the Motorola tools for mobile development, as part of the Motorola SDK team at C.E.S.A.R.
I’m a father to Beatriz and a husband to Viviane. They’re the reason I keep moving.
